Long time..

Its been a year that I haven't been on here, i'm sorry for not being around, updates with what I have been doing are, I have now finished my second year of my BA Hons photography degree and I am going forward to the third year in september, I am currently in the process of moving away from home, and I am researching to find out what photographer I really want to be.
over the next few weeks I will be looking into what I am passionate about within photography, and why I love to take the photographs that matter

New toys

Managed to get some new equipment for my editing of work very happy with it. Haven't had a day without being on it editing or just playing with photoshop :)

New Work!!

Been working on some personal best work this week, made one of my good friends to model for me and managed to involved the family and the dog! :) had fun just using the studio and just experimenting. Even had the chance to model for a simple photo shoot.

Not been Around

Over the last couple of weeks i haven't been able to get on to here because of personal reasons, but i now i am back and heres a quick update on my photography so far

my book  cover project seems to be going well lots of image making on seductive powerful women as the book i am doing is La Grosse Fifi by Jean Rhys,

These are just to styles i have tried for this project, these are for the book covers and i will be doing some author portraits in the studio and on location.

New Page

I have started a new module for uni on curating . This page will follow my work within this module, and visits to gallery's. I chose curating as I have had an interest to how series of works in galleries, are put together to work along side each other. Hope you can learn a little from this page and get a greater understanding of what galleries do for your enjoyment.

What i have been up too!!

So the last couple of weeks i have been finishing coursework for deadlines and so took a trip to London with uni.

London was amazing, the main things that stuck out for me was going to The Photographers gallery and the V&A. The Photographers gallery was interesting as they had some of Andy Warhol's work, some of it i thought was great the way he stitched the photos together and having six of the same image but different exposures then stitched together was good too. but some of his work just looked like he got bored one day and took photos of random objects

The V&A was a great experience, as we got to go into the print room to see and hold the real prints. this was really interesting to see the real things instead of them on a computer screen.

The whole trip was a good experience and i will be going back some time this year to take photos as London skyline at night is beautiful!!

Deadline

Deadline for making strange today, will be presenting my work to my group. Feeling nervous about talking in front of everyone. Hopefully everthing goes well!!
